We huddled around with dad to listen to every pitch after the fifth inning. Hooton would be traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1975, and would be a solid member of their rotation for ten seasons, and finished his career with the Texas Rangers. He was 151-136 with an ERA of 3.38 for his career.
